Our Descriptive Poems

Hey all!  This week our class has been focusing on writing poetry. Up first: Descriptive Poems. Now you may be saying, "Ummmm Messick, is that a type of poem?" Well let me tell you, "Yes, yes, it is!". The kids loved being able to pick their own topic and then think of rhyming words as they described their chosen content. They were tasked with choosing something from our classroom. As you scroll through you may notice some Avengers related topics. Rest assure these are apart of our room. I know!
